Whenever we travel I take along my trusty watercolor kit because I never know when I will come upon a scene I'd like to paint. This painting is from a camping trip in Wisconsin during the fall of 2021. It was off season so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Crisp fall mornings that led into warm afternoons for hiking and stopping to record the beauty all around us.
